Youth Art Education, Enriching the Lives of Seniors

Heartistry is a small, nonprofit operating in the southwestern town of Durango, Colorado. Offering free art education and supplies to area youth, Heartistry brings the value of creativity into the lives of students who may have limited access to the visual arts. As students learn about art, they are encouraged to create additional works that are donated to seniors at local community art events, care facilities and other housing sites, as well as organizations focused on improving the lives of our elders.
